Branded by the Parma Ham Consortium, it is a DOP product i.e. a Protected Denomination of Origin, and in fact can only be produced on the fragrant parmesan hills.
Produced with the thighs of very selected pigs, without preservatives or dyes, nitrites and nitrates, it is a genuine food, nutritionally balanced, perfect even for feeding the little ones, and lends itself to the most varied proposals and preparations, from the simple and quick mid-afternoon sandwich to the most elaborate and refined menus.
